Which one is right for me?
I have a computer degree or an MCA
TPSC ATO (a BE/B.Tech in CS, IT, Electronics or ECE, or an MCA, plus a Tripura PRTC) and the High Court Senior Computer Assistant (BE/B.Tech in CS or IT, or an MCA).
I have an electrical degree or diploma
TPSC JE Electrical. A degree for Grade-I, a diploma for Grade-II.
I am a graduate with typing skills
High Court Junior Administrative Assistant. It needs a graduate degree and a computer word-processing certificate with 40 words per minute typing.
I passed Madhyamik or Higher Secondary
Forest Guard needs Madhyamik. Forester needs Higher Secondary. Both include a physical test with a 25 km walk for men and 16 km for women.
I want to become a teacher
T-TET Paper I for Classes 1 to 5 and Paper II for Classes 6 to 8. Start with Child Development and Pedagogy, which is the same in both papers.
What all of them share
- A Permanent Resident Certificate of Tripura (PRTC) is required for most of these posts.
- Tripura and North-East general knowledge appears in nearly every paper, and national GK books do not cover it.
- Knowledge of Bengali or Kokborok is desirable, and for the Forest posts a language paper is compulsory.
- Age is usually 18 to 40, with relaxation for SC, ST and government servants.
