West Bengal Police Recruitment Board — Constable & Lady Constable

The West Bengal Police Recruitment Board recruits Constables and Lady Constables for West Bengal Police. The 2024 recruitment had 11,749 posts (8,212 Constable and 3,537 Lady Constable); its written test was held on 30 November 2025, followed by PMT/PET from January 2026. The written test has 85 multiple-choice questions for 85 marks in 60 minutes, in Bengali or English, with a quarter mark deducted for each wrong answer. Those who qualify take the Physical Measurement Test and the Physical Efficiency Test, and the final merit adds a 15-mark interview to the written score. You must be able to read, write and speak Bengali. WBPRB has not notified the next recruitment yet.
