About SSC CHSL
SSC CHSL (Combined Higher Secondary Level, 10+2) is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission to recruit candidates for Lower Division Clerk, Data Entry Operator and similar posts. The Tier-I CBT has 100 questions across English Language, General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness, solved in 60 minutes with a 0.5-mark penalty for each wrong answer. Selection Process
SSC CHSL exam pattern
Section I includes Maths, Reasoning, English & GK modules. Section II covers Computer Knowledge. Qualifying Skill Test / Typing Test conducted after Tier II.
Qualifying in nature (no marks added to merit). DEO post: Data Entry skill test. LDC/JSA post: Typing test in English (35 wpm) or Hindi (30 wpm).
