About RBI Grade B
RBI Grade B (Direct Recruit) is one of the most prestigious government jobs in India — an officer-level role at the Reserve Bank of India. With only 60 vacancies in 2026, competition is extremely intense. Phase I is an objective test (200Q, 2 hrs). Phase II has three papers — Economic & Social Issues (ESI), English (descriptive), and Finance & Management (FM). Starting basic pay is ₹78,450 with a gross monthly salary of approximately ₹1.5 lakh. Only top-calibre graduates with strong economics and finance knowledge crack this exam.

Selection Process
RBI Grade B exam pattern
Paper I: Economic & Social Issues (100M, 90 min — 30 obj + 3 descriptive). Paper II: English Writing Skills (100M, 90 min — descriptive). Paper III: Finance & Management (100M, 90 min — 30 obj + 2 descriptive).
Final merit = Phase II (75%) + Interview (25%).
