About SSC CGL

Staff Selection Commission — Combined Graduate Level

SSC CGL (Combined Graduate Level) is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission to recruit graduates into Group B and Group C posts across central government departments. The Tier-I computer-based test has 100 questions across four sections — General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension — to be solved in 60 minutes with 0.5 marks deducted for every wrong answer.
