UPSSSC PET answer key 2026
UPSSSC has not released the PET 2026 answer key yet. The exam ends on 1 November 2026. Last time, the provisional key came on 9 September 2025, 2 days after the exam, on upsssc.gov.in, and objections were open for about a week. Score = right answers − (wrong answers ÷ 4), out of 100.

Last time, for timing
The 2025 key came just 2 days after the exam. This year the exam ends on 1 November, so the key could come in the first week of November. This is a guess from last year, not a UPSSSC date.

How to download the answer key
1. Go to upsssc.gov.in and open the PET 2026 answer key notice.
2. Download the key for your shift. UPSSSC gives it for the master question booklet, so match your booklet series with the master set first.
3. Mark your answers against the key, then count your marks as shown below.
How to raise an objection
Log in on the UPSSSC objection link with your registration number and roll number while the window is open. Pick the question, give your reason and proof, and pay the fee if the notice asks for one. Late objections are not taken.
How to count your marks
PET has 100 questions of 1 mark each, with 0.25 cut for each wrong answer. Score = right answers − (wrong answers ÷ 4).
Example: 70 right and 20 wrong gives 70 − 5 = 65 out of 100.
PET has no pass or fail. Your score is valid for 3 years, and Group C main exams shortlist candidates by it, so every mark counts.

UPSSSC PET: questions people ask
When is UPSSSC PET 2026?
On 25 October, 30 October and 1 November 2026, in two shifts a day (10 AM to 12 noon and 3 PM to 5 PM). The exam was first set for 23 to 25 October and was moved because of the UP Legislative Council election.
Is the UPSSSC PET 2026 admit card out?
Yes. The admit card has been on upsssc.gov.in since about 17 October 2026, issued date by date, so you download the one for your own exam day. The exam city slip came out on 12 October. It only shows your district and does not let you into the hall.
What is the UPSSSC PET exam pattern?
100 questions for 100 marks in 2 hours, with 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer. Ten sections have 5 questions each and five have 10 questions each.
